Alma Mater School
Since its inception in 1988, the school has been adding its achievements in every field. From being the first day boarding (for classes I to VIII) concept institution in the city to the only school to have its own swimming pool, the school management's commitment is unending. 21 years ago when Capt. R Dhingra envisioned a concept institution, a modern school with Indian culture created a harmonious blend; today widely known as the Alma Mater School. The school's inception was in a modest four room premises but today the school boasts of a massive playground, 60 class rooms and activities at par with any institution in the country.

It maintains Pre NC to XII regular school too, which it continues alongside I to VIII Day Boarding. With feats of excellence at every step, Alma Mater has become the most sought after institution in the city.
With a management team that envisions excellence as the only milestone, the students are always following in their footsteps. Be it District, State or National Awards, the management has got them all and so have the students.
Games and Sports
The school provides for an hour of physical activity, i.e. games and sports everyday early in the morning which is mandatory for all students of the school. The school provides for all facilities including equipment, therefore the students don't need to carry or afford sports equipment. The school has ample space (5 acres) and enough number of National level instructors to coach the students. The school boasts of having its own swimming pool which is maintained in accordance with high standards of cleanliness apart from all other forms of games and sports like Cricket, Football, Basketball, Hockey, Sepak Takra, Martial Arts, Badminton, TT, Gymnastics, Yoga, Aerobics, etc.
The last hour
The school also dwells on indoor art and craft wherein the students are exposed to all kinds of activities like music (harmonium, tabla, guitar, etc.), clay modeling, soft art, handicraft, needlecraft, oration, elocution, career orientation, etc.
