Activities
 

A large number of activities are conducted round the year. Inter-house and Inter-school competitions are organized and every child is encouraged to participate. Students-Exchange Programmes are being planned with schools in India.

 

Games and Sports

 

All children are required to actively participate in games. The school provides excellent facilities for cricket, volleyball, basketball, football, hockey, badminton, table tennis, sepak takra, yoga, martial arts, gymnastics and the school has it's own swimming pool.
Training is also being provided for athletics

 

Outings, Excursions, Exchange Programmes
The school provides for educational experiences beyond the classroom in order to enrich the educational programme, Regular outings, excursions are planned and the children are accompanied by their teachers and house staff. Student and Teacher Exchange Programmes are conducted in collaboration with other schools/agencies with the aim of globalising the educational experience of the students of our school. Mr. Shubendu Dutta, Co-ordinator attended one School Teachers training programme in Israel

Clubs and Hobbies


Membership to the Nature club, Adventure club, Social Service club is open to all students. These clubs are functioning under the World Wide Fund for Nature, Pollution control board and Helpage India. Many programmes are organized through the year. A large number of hobbies are also offered to the students. The school organises photography club(has it's own process lab), musical instruments lab, needle craft, clay modelling, other allied activities.

Career Counselling and Guidance

The school caters to counselling and guidance of the children. Each child is observed by the school counsellor and encourged to gain insight into it's aptitudes. Guidance and counselling also helps in developing personalities that are balanced. Career choices are counseled about from time to time.
